Eligibility
We welcome applications from native English speakers with a good level of written and spoken English, along with people whose first language is not English. Non-native speakers should also possess a high standard of both written and spoken English. As a general guide, a TOEFL score of at least 575 is acceptable as is a pass at C.A.E. (Certificate in Advanced English or C.P.E. (Certificate of Proficiency in English) level or an IELTS score of 6.5.

While we do not test applicants on their level of English, should submitted work contain a number of errors, it will be passed back to the student for re-working until it is of an acceptable level.

Marking and Tutor Support
All Global English courses are graded by continuous assessment. There are short tasks and in-depth activities throughout, with an exam question at the end of the course. A qualified EFL tutor will mark your answers and is available by phone or email if you require any further help. Global English course support continues even after you have finished your course, with free CV assistance, monthly online newsletter and job assistance through the main GE website.
